Great product May 31, 2010 This is the most comfortable thing you've ever laid your hands on. On the other hand, I can't imagine using it with a mouse. I use a trackball, which you don't have to move. The pad stays right in front of it and it's heaven. In fact, when people use my computer, they always comment on how wonderful it feels.
Trackball users: buy this. And it's even cheap!
A Good Deal! Feb 11, 2010
I liked this product but I have a couple of suggestions for improvement. First the curved inside should be flat or fit against the side of a keyboard better. Secondly I think that the firm covering could come down a bit more and maybe if there were a Roll for a wrist rest that would be better.
Great wrist saver, but problematic mousing capabilities Jul 20, 2009 Pro: This is a wrist-saver! I bought it because I had a sore developing on my wrist from mousing on hard surfaces and inadequate mouse pads. After a day using it, the sore improved and now only comes back when I'm using any other mousing surface.
Con: Any optical mouse I use skips, or wobbles as another reviewer put it. It's mildly annoying but tolerable.

very smart design Jul 10, 2008 I wasn't sure at first if this mouse pad will do a good job with an optical mouse. But it has a hard surface on the upper end and the gel thing at the lower end where your wrist would lie. It has a very smart design.

Depends on the size of the mouse Feb 12, 2008 If you have a tiny mouse, this mousepad is incredibly comfortable and great to use. I have one at work with a small mouse and it has greatly reduced my wrist pain while mousing.
However, if you have a large mouse, it's not such a good mousepad because the surface is contoured which causes the mouse to "wobble" when you try to click, making it very frustrating. I bought a second one for home and I can't stand it because I have one of the Logitech MX mice which are quite large.
Bottom line: If you have a small mouse, get this pad. If you have a large mouse, get a perfectly horizontal surface pad instead.
