3mouse doesn't work with Microsoft Virtual PC  Jul 28, 2010
I got this keyboard and mouse to replace a corded MS ergonomic keyboard that had a couple of keys fail after over a decade of use.

But the mouse - specifically the scroll wheel - is not compatible with Microsoft Virtual PC.

In my opinion that is design defect that renders the mouse unusable.

I use Virtual PCs all the time especially for web browsing. Right now I am using a virtual PC with my old Logitec mouse to write this review.

The keyboard is nice.

1I HATE THESE MEESES (and keyboards) TO PIECES! HORENDOUS CONNECTIVY ISSUES.  Jul 23, 2010
The ergonomics and comfort are truly wonderful. The loss of connectivity between the keyboard and the mouse is so common that you have to watch closely or you will miss a letter, a word, a sentence, etc. By the end of the day I am so frustrated with the keyboard and mouse I could smash them! My partner and I purchased the keyboard sets together. Both our desktop sets suffered, coincidentally, from the same connectivity failings. We returned the sets for replacements since we did not fathom that Microsoft could continue to sell such horrible pieces of hardware. We no longer risk buying microsoft hardward. All desktop products, laptop mice, and laptop keyboards sets and risers are purchased from another manufacturer. If you can find another ergonomic keyboard purchase it, it could not be worse than this product! If you buy this product, you are choosing between sore hands and wrists versus migraine headaches incalculable frustration. And, we paid [...] bucks for this junk. In sum, I hate this product!

3Great keyboard...UNTIL USB Broke!  Jun 30, 2010
I was loving this keyboard until I went to use it on another computer and the USB transceiver broke. I called MS support and there are no replacement parts for keyboards so this is worthless right now. Very disappointed, going back to a wired ergo keyboard.

5I love this Ergonomic Set!  Jun 11, 2010
The keyboard does take some getting used to, but I've used it before and I'm glad to have another one. I think it's good to switch keyboard styles. Variety helps to ease the aches from carpal tunnel, too. I've been able to avoid full-blown carpal tunnel syndrome by using all the ergonomic things I can find. And they really do help, a lot!

The "natural" mouse is my absolute favorite mouse. I've used this style for many years now. As soon as I go back to a regular mouse, my hand, wrist and arm start aching again. With this mouse, the hand is more in a sideways position and it's so much more comfortable. If Microsoft ever stopped making this mouse, I would be very unhappy.

This new set that I just received has a teeny little USB receiver that plugs into the port directly, so there is no wire to drag across the desk. I'm really glad they got rid of the wire. It's a small but nice improvement.

I wish that Microsoft bundled the Natural Ergonomic mouse with their regular Comfort Curve keyboard, as well. I prefer to buy the bundled mouse and keyboard wireless Set so there is only one USB receiver. I'd like to see this Mouse available with other keyboards, for variety.

4Mouse, 4.5; Keyboard, 1.5  Jun 09, 2010
Before I bought the set, I read several of the reviews; I should have given more thought to them. I really like the mouse for all the reasons the other reviewers have given. Likewise, I loathe the keyboard for exactly the same reasons most of the reviewers here do: the truly awful spacebar.

I have to admit that this is my first -- and likely last --venture into this type of keyboard. I'm a retired court reporter, quite proficient in the use of anything demanding finger dexterity. But I hunt and peck on this device like a middle schooler in her first typing class.

Bottom line, I bought the wireless pair to replace the set that came with my great new all-in-one PC since the mouse was so small my hand tended to cramp and my wrist hurt. Also, the keyboard was very narrow.

Wonder if I can keep this mouse and go back to the smaller keyboard?

Hm.......
