4Evoluent Verticle Mouse  Jul 04, 2009
This mouse is great for you hand. It takes a little getting used to, but once you do, it will really help with hand ergomic issues. There are a couple of things that I want to comment on. If you have another mouse plugged it, this mouse will be very unstable. Be sure to remove any other mouse. I have one at work also, and it did the same thing. Also, when it is idle, sometimes it will travle. This is very bothering when I am trying to do something and the pointer is moving. Also, because it is a verticle mouse, the pressure of your hand is not on the top pushing down, so when you click, the movement of your hand can cause the mouse to move forward somewhat, causing you to click above where you wanted to click. But, because it is so much better for my hand, I will live with these drawbacks. It is the best ergonomic mouse I know of.
The movement issue was fixed by turned the rez down using the button on the bottom.

5Quite Pleased  May 07, 2009
This is a quality ergonomic mouse. It fits in my hand like a glove. The buttons function with very little pressure. The pain in my arm has subsided to almost no pain, in a short time of use. It came with setup instructions for different situations. All I had to do was plug it into a USB port and it was ready to use. I have a XP system and it was very simple. I cannot comment on other systems.

5This mouse saved my wrist  Feb 22, 2009
I use a mouse constantly at work and often at home. I do not have carpal tunnel. I was in so much pain at the end of the day that I couldn't sleep. My company bought this mouse for me. It took about 1 week to get used to it. Now the splints are gone, the pain is gone and I bought one to carry with my personal laptop and one to use with my desktop. I cannot recommend highly enough.

3Where does it hurt?  Oct 18, 2007
There's nothing wrong with the product, but it didn't completely eliminate the pain in my wrist. I ended up just switching to using a conventional (yes, even a right-handed) mouse with my left hand and that worked. I found the adjustment of using the mouse left-handed to be about the same level of difficult as adjusting to the vertical mouse. Whether this is a good choice for you depends on where your pain is. I have de Quervain's tendonitis and the vertical mouse was an improvement, but still painful.

1Not worth it...  Aug 30, 2007
My boss purchased this mouse for me after my chiropractor recommended another vertical mouse. We got this one for the extra buttons. I wanted to believe it would work and I tried it for 6 days, but this actually aggravated my wrist pain and my chiropractor agreed that I should stop using this. Now I am back to using a wrist brace for my mouse hand.

If you use your mouse in a precision sort of way (highlighting and copying text, any photoshop exercise) this is not the right mouse for you. Maybe it works for casual user but for power users it sucks. It is also very uncomfortable and feels like you are holding a coffee cup instead of a mouse...
