Nicely built, horrible back support May 26, 2010
This model with the advanced ergo controls and mid-back is the standard desk chair used by my office. I've been sitting on one for the last few years and have developed horrible low-mid back pain. Many of my co-workers refuse to sit on them for this reason as well. No matter how I adjust the chair I cannot sit comfortably for more than an hour without experiencing lower back pain or being tempted to slouch forward. Perhaps the high-back is a better option. My only other criticism is that the arm rests twist too easily and I find myself repositioning them throughout the day after accidentally bumping them. Otherwise, the chair is very nicely built, sturdy, rugged, and highly adjustable. I would suggest trying before you buy. It's not for everyone.
